I love to explore and paint from places I have lived and travelled.

A recent body of work depicts large American wildlife - moose, elk & bison - in a free and uninhibited painterly style. These paintings were inspired by time in upstate New York and north western Colorado. 

 

I also love to paint the iconic underground art of the New York City subway. I am drawn to the vibrant color, liveliness and dramatic perspective of stairways and tunnels, beams and signage. Millions upon millions travel the subways every day, yet few stop to embrace the playful environment.
